oy. so-quick recap...july 12th peanut spit up blood, spent the night in the hospital, doc confirmed she had reflux, which i told him at her 2 mo appt. we switched docs. now we have a groovy lady doc who is much more in sync with us. also, she agreed with me that peanut has a lil bit of torticollis, so we started physical therapy for that. its not bad, it just makes her look a lil bit like the RCA dog, with her head cocked to the side. then we went to pgh, and my germy nephew gave her an ear infection. that's the medical catchup.
the FUN parts...
she's laughing big giant belly laughs where she squeaks and squeals and sounds like the baby in that aliyah song. SO CUTE! i love it. i do the STUPIDEST things to get her to laugh. i make silly faces, play peek a boo from behind her tiny feet, i dance silly dances. and i do it in public, no less.
also, she's gotten the whole roll over, push up, look around thing down pat. used to be, she'd roll on her belly, but then be mad cuz her head was too big to hold up, but now she pushes her whole torso up, and it's just magnificent.
she grins while she nurses, and occasionally cracks herself up. i have no idea what she giggles at, but it always makes me laugh too.
i'm reading superbabyfood, to learn how to make homemade baby food. she starts solids in sept. and she's cutting a tooth right now, i think. my baby is growing up WAY too fast. way too fast. i can't take it.
